RIVER MEMORIAL GARDEN – V.A. CASTLE POINT
The River Memorial Garden is a beautiful place for veterans, patients, and visitors to relax outside with its magnificent views of the Hudson River and the entire Castle Point campus. Completed in 1996, the garden has become a focal point for memorial services and ceremonies. The project was built through funds raised mostly from donors whose engraved memorial blocks and brick pavers form the planting beds of the garden. Subtle accent lighting and the wheelchair-friendly landscape allow the garden to be a place for personal reflection at any time.
