NEW ENGLAND SCHOOL-VASSAR COLLEGE
Completed in 2001 for Vassar College, this renovation of 4,875 square feet turned former attic level student art studio space into formal academic offices by drawing from the historic detailing of the New England Building. Realized for $925,000, this interior reconstruction included period detailing and restoration of existing cornices, glasswork, and wood trim. Faculty offices for the full time and adjunct English Department staff were created with newly installed HVAC and fire safety systems, and interior finishes consistent with the campus and facilities’ architectural heritage.
