GUZMAN HALL – MOUNT SAINT MARY COLLEGE

Guzman Hall’s renovation is the second phase result of a campus-wide Residential Life Facilities Study conducted by Liscum, McCormack, VanVoorhis in 1998 for Mount Saint Mary College. Originally constructed as a novitiate for the Dominican Sisters in 1969, Guzman Hall was reconstructed to accommodate up to 105 students in a mix of private doubles and four person suites. All rooms were sized to the standard set of Mount Saint Mary College’s Sakac Hall and have private bathrooms that are subdivided to allow for multi-person use. The building is a true mixed-use facility, housing the campus chapel, classrooms, and student common amenities, including a computer lab, reception area, movie lounge, and fitness room located on the ground and first floors.
